As a volunteer of Feliciana Animal Welfare Society, I attended my first Adoption Day. All went well, we had 6 adoptions total, 5 pups and 1 adult. Over the weekend we actually had around 20 dogs get adopted in total. FAWS is now down to half of what we normally foster, which is a very good thing. Adoption Day was interesting, though not many people or shelters attended, the highlight of the day was getting to babysit Champ. Champ is a Jack Russel, Chihuahua mix. Adorable! He was nothing but pure laziness. He slept in my lap 90% of the time we were there, so I think Adoption Day went very well for me. The awesome part was that Champ had already been adopted, he was only coming along because his new owner couldn't pick him up until later that week. So I know you're dying to see Champ! Here he is ...
I was not able to get a full body photo of him, nor of one when he was actually awake! but nevertheless I think these portray his adorableness pretty well. Hope you enjoy!
